The current beta is designed to work without an account, lead form or submission of calculator figures to BackMyDecision.
Quote files and calculator inputs
Quote files and values entered into the calculator are processed in your browser. The selected PDF or text file is not uploaded to BackMyDecision, and its extracted text is not retained by the site.
Saved decisions
When you choose to save a decision, it is stored in this browser using local storage. It is not synchronised across devices. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.
Downloads and reminders
Decision receipts and calendar files are generated in your browser. You choose where to store them and whether to add the reminders to a calendar.
Hosting and security
The hosting and security provider may process ordinary connection information such as IP address, request details and a security cookie to deliver and protect the site. The beta does not include advertising trackers or a marketing-email form.
Public outcomes
No saved decision or outcome is currently placed on a public scoreboard. If a future version introduces account sync or public verification, it will require a separate, clear choice and an updated privacy notice before any data is submitted.
